Employment

Fox Creek Farm is looking for people interested in working at our farm. Positions start at the end of April, and are FT or PT, 3 to 5 days/week. The employment application procedures are below. More information about our farm and farming practices can be found on this website.

Work hours are arranged from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility (weather, etc.). Compensation starts at $ 8.00/hr, plus a generous amount of vegetables. A reliable means of  transportation is needed. Our farm is a non-smoking workplace.

Please note that work on our farm involves frequent bending, 

stretching, lifting, hauling and other physically demanding tasks. Therefore, physical fitness and stamina to do hard and often repetitive outdoor work is required. Some basic math will greatly help in the packing barn. 

We are looking for employees who are able to take directions from their supervisors, are punctual, and pay attention to detail yet can accomplish tasks in a timely manner. We expect from our employees a  professional and friendly manner to all farm members and visitors.  We also expect our employees to  improve on their work - and we will evaluate those improvements periodically, with opportunities to increases in pay and responsibilities at the farm.
